Benton Community School Corporation Welcomes New Superintendent

The Benton Community School Board is pleased to welcome Dr. Annette Zupin as the corporation’s next Superintendent. Dr. Zupin has 32 years of public education experience and will assume her responsibilities on July 1, 2023.

She began her career as a business teacher at Winamac Community Middle/High School and
held various administrator positions with the North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation for 21 years. Those roles include Middle School Principal, High School Principal. She is currently in
her 7th year as the Superintendent. Dr. Zupin holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Education from Ball State University, a Master of Art in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master of Art in Education Administration from Ball State University, Educational Specialist degree from Indiana State University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Indiana State University.

Community School Corporation’s new Superintendent. I look forward to working
collaboratively with the faculty and staff in order to maintain the positive programs and
initiatives the corporation has in place as well as exploring future opportunities for
students and the school community.”


The school board invites the staff and community to attend their regularly scheduled
board meeting on June 19, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the school corporation administration
building where Dr. Zupin will be formally introduced.
